IT'S A BOY!!!!

We went yesterday for our ultrasound and found out we will be having another BOY!!! We are so very, very excited and I know Parker will be thrilled to have little brother! He always has such a great time with the little boys in our playgroup!
My doctor said he looks perfect which is music to our ears! He's growing right on schedule and they think he weights about 10 oz. She also said my due date will stay the same, Feb. 3rd, so that's good!
As for names, I think we've almost decided on Carter for the first name but we're still playing around with middle names. We kind of like Elliot for the middle name but we're going to think on it a little while longer. I love suggestions so if you have any please send them my way!
Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound! Sorry the pictures are kind of crooked, I had a little disagreement with the scanner!
I can already tell he's going to be such a looker! Just like his big brother!

The boy parts!

He's looking straight at the camera in this one.

Another profile shot with his hand by his face.

I've decided to make the bedding myself this time around so I'll post pictures of the fabrics I'm going to use as soon as I get all of them. I'll also post updated pictures of my progress. Good thing I have 5 months or so to get it all done because I have a feeling I'm going to need all the time I can get!

First Day of "School"!

Today was Parker's first day of what I've been calling "Mommy School"! I think Parker really enjoyed it! The lesson was pretty light which was kind of nice. It helped us determine how to get in the grove of things! Here are a few pictures of the story board Bobby and I made and Parker doing his work!

The curriculum suggests making a felt story board to help illustrate the weekly bible study lesson and monthly bible verse. This weeks lesson was Jonah and the Whale. The beautiful art work was courtesy of Bobby. He did a REALLY great job! All I had to do was color them in and put the felt on the back.

Man, do I love Mommy School!

Already he's a great student!
